A Level Media

This is a clip of 'The Escapist' the final cut. From our audience research, myself and Grace decided we would change the titles to be a bit smaller as they were taking up alot of the screen and we did not want to take a lot of focus away from the actual scenes, however we were still satisfied with the colour and font of the titles therefore we kept them the same. Another factor we adpatred within our thriller opening was the sound. We were still very happy with our non-diegetic soundtrack as it had the appropriate crescendo and dimmuendo parts that fit within our opening. Therefore we decided to add in diegetic sounds, such as a camera click when the main charcter takes a picture at the start of the opening and footsteps throughout when appropriate. We also added in non-diegetic footsteps during the last few scenes of the opening as it would appear that the convict was approaching the victim as the last shot shows his feet, as if he is looking over his victim, which creates tension for the audience.
