Preliminary Task
During my first lesson of media at sixth form. I learnt about the course and what is expected of me to complete the course to my full ability. I discovered what tasks the course consisted of and how many marks each task will be worth. This information was very useful to me as it gave me an understanding of the time in which each task needed to be completed and allowed me to think about the tasks ahead. In todays lesson we were given our briefs which explained the priliminary task. I found this very useful as it allowed me to see exactly what i would have to do during the next few weeks in media to complete this task.

Continuity!
4/09/14
Today we also looked into Continuity. I learnt that continuity is the elimination of mistakes from filming. It will be used to allow the scene in which is being filmed to flow. In order to be successful in continuity the characters, plot, props, objects, places and events must be consistant throughout. Alot of continuity mistakes will be subtle mistakes, hardly noticable. Such as the amount of the drink in a glass or the length of a cigarette, however there can be times when larger continuity mistakes are made, such as sudden drastic changes in characters or setting. Continuity mistakes can appear in any film production, even a few large hollywood films have been known to have continuity mistakes appear in them.
